Day 1
Depart from Nairobi
You will be picked up from your place of residence at approximately 07:00hrs after breakfast depart to Masai Mara national reserve, arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch relax by the pool or even enjoy a siesta, before setting out for an afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Day 2
Game Drive in Masai Mara
Wake up call. Set out for an early morning game drive in the reserve. This is usually the most popular game viewing time. During the early hours, temperatures are low, thus providing a favourable atmosphere both for the game and the viewer. Return to the Lodge for breakfast. Mid-morning at leisure. Lunch will be at the Lodge. Afternoon game drive will follow during the late afternoon hours returning back to the lodge time to freshen up for dinner. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 3
The Return Trip
After Breakfast, Depart to Nairobi and drop off to your place of residence.

What do you need to carry with you?

Is this place Handicap friendly?
Although these days most places are, it is always wise to inquire before you book, especially for Africa.
There are still some places which do not cater to the requirements of a handicapped person. Most Kenya safari trips and operators have excellent safety records, and you should be fine if you follow the safety briefings and instructions from guides
How long is the travel time to Mara?
Masai Mara is between 6-7 hours depending on the traffic
Mombasa is about 6 - 7 hours also depending on the traffic, an early morning departure is best.
Naivasha is 1 hour and about 20 minutes
Nakuru is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes
Kisumu is approximately 5 hours drive from Nairobi
Nanyuki, Sweet Waters Camp or Mount Kenya Safari Club are approximately 4 hours.
Are meals provided during the journey?
Meals are usually at your own cost. However, accommodation at the lodges in most national parks
are on Full Board Basis, catering for all the meals.
On the coast a choice of bed & Breakfast, half board or full board is provided, depending on the
guests preference, if you are keen to sample local cuisine at different restaurants, then half board is
most suitable
Do the properties suit Honeymoon couples?
Yes, most hotels and lodges make special arrangements for honeymooners at a small additional fee.
If you seek privacy then smaller boutique hotels and lodges can also be arranged.
Is Hunting Allowed?
Hunting is not permitted in Kenya. It is possible to hunt in Tanzania, a special license is required at a substantial cost.
We do not offer this package.
Can we purchase Souveniers?
Most lodges and beach hotels have shops that sell souvenirs.
If travelling by road, the driver/guide will also make stops at souvenir shops en route to your destination.
It is always recommended that some bargaining is done before making your purchase for the shops en route. and even sometimes at the lodge or hotel.
What happens if we miss out on the Van if we are late?
If it is a group excursion, then for the game drive, if you are late, you will have to give it a miss if the rest of the party is unwilling to wait.
If it is a small family group then the driver is able to wait for you.
